Frequently asked questions
Find answers to your questions about Lane and how it works.
What is Lane?
Lane compares available swap paths across Elysium and prepares the transaction for your wallet to sign. It finds the lane — it doesn't hold your funds.
Does Lane ever hold my funds or keys?
No. You sign a single transaction from your own wallet and the tokens go straight to you. Limit and DCA orders sit in the orders contract until they fill, and you can cancel them at any time.
What does a swap cost?
A router fee of 5 bps (0.05%) of the output, capped at 1% and already included in the quote, plus the network fee (gas) paid in HYPE. Pool fees are part of the quoted price.
Where do swap fees go?
Router fees are Lane's revenue. The FeeCollector converts them on-chain; this page tracks the fees collected and converted, live from the Lane API.
What if there's no lane for my pair?
Lane tells you before you sign: no route means nothing is sent. Try another amount or an intermediate token such as HYPE or USDC.
What network does Lane run on?
Elysium, Kinetiq's L2 on HyperEVM. Gas is paid in HYPE. Mainnet opens on November 9, 2026; until then Lane runs on the Elysium testnet.
